SRC-T1A

The T1A is a culmination of geometry and quality components, designed with precision and built to produce a high-end performance based racing Truck. It is not an “RTR” and never will be when purchased through SRC.

The T1A has been through an enormous amount of research and development, with over two years of track time. Competing in club and state events alongside mass produced and manufactured Trucks.

Geometrically speaking, it’s not unlike most top end Trucks on the market now. In fact we do use certain components, (modified however) from these “A” class Trucks. You’ll find that most Trucks in this era have a little of something from others and vice-versa, but with a different look and perhaps function. Our Truck is similar in this way and yet still highly unique and individual.

Signature R/C prides itself on producing quality and never sacrificing this with sub-rate or cheap materials. ALL alloy components are made with 7075 T6 Aircraft industry alloy. Some high wearing components are also heavy anodized while others are standard process anodized.

The T1A is specific in its build and set up which is designed with Australian tracks in mind. The rougher the track the better!

In addition to all this, our Truck meets all AARCCMC rules and regulations for sanctioned events, with its very low CG (Centre of Gravity) design and stealth-looking stance, the T1A will impress you with its well balanced jumping capabilities and stable, rough terrain travel. With this in mind, I must mention that getting offline is no issue as the forgiving nature of this truck easily compensates and allows you to get back online.

The parts make-up of the T1A is unique, in fact, the Truck’s design incorporates a culmination of different location points for customized and individual set-ups, with an emphasis on interchange-ability and easy service-ability while still maintaining its correct geometry. This includes hub carriers, shocks and wing positions. Diffs are strong, don’t leak and smooth running. Crown wheel and pinion are a spiral helical cut and meshed properly, offering smooth transitions through over-all power and torque ranges. There are also numerous shock options (as with positions and angles) from a laid down position through to the traditional near-upright position. Continue...
