SRC-T1A
The chassis of the T1A is machined 7075 T6 alloy, with attention to the usual recesses under the engine, servos and diffs. This particular chassis is also hard anodised with a 7 degree kick-up at the front.
The T1A utilizes the Buggy 17mm HEX configuration with long CVD axles and shafts. Half off-set 17mm HEX rims are included in this build.
A 2 piece competition quick change engine mount is a standard item and is beefier than most option ones in the market today. We have made this particular mount to help out with the inherent chassis flex that Trucks suffer from because of their wider base and length. It’s perfect when used in conjunction with the larger engines that can put so much more torque and vibration through the Truck.
Another feature of the T1A is the lower suspension arms. While at first glance they appear to be typical plastic arms, they are not… These quality machined arms are in fact alloy, hard anodized and TOUGH! Weighing in not much more than plastic suspension arms, these compliment the low CG of the Truck and attribute to the stability of the T1A in a very positive way. We have been racing over the last couple of years on these, trying every conceivable combination only to find that properly hard anodized ones have shown incredibly less wear at the hinge pins. There is no need to worry about plastic arm flex, these arms are tough!
As these Trucks are made individually by hand - and not mass produced - Signature R/C can assure you that even though the Truck is pre-built, it is certainly built with attention to the details and fitting of every component and their smooth running functions.
To compliment the high quality shock and diff oils that are used in the T1A's, we also incorporate only ceramic nitride bearings throughout the Truck. Ceramics not only give an excellent free roll, but also provide a very low resistance to the drive train.
Over all the T1A is a very comfortable drive, suited specifically to the racer rather than the backyard basher. It is based solely around a full competition platform, the requirements of which performance and durability coupled with reliability are mandatory.
